Harm caused by an admiring or envious glance, often from someone close. Symptoms come and go in waves.

• · Sudden fatigue and yawning during ruqyah
• · Heat in the face, heaviness in the shoulders
• · Symptoms flare after being praised or photographed

Persistent envy wishing your blessing away. Heavier and more continuous than the eye, often blocking rizq and marriage.

• · Chronic chest tightness and constricted breathing
• · Blocked provision, doors closing repeatedly
• · Dislike of a specific person without cause

Deliberate harm through sorcery — eaten, drunk, buried or tied. Usually needs a longer, consistent treatment course.

• · Strong aversion to spouse, food or prayer
• · Recurring nightmares, blockages, unexplained illness
• · Severe reaction when Al-Baqarah or the verses of sihr are recited

A jinn attached to or inside the body. Reactions are physical and often visible during recitation.

• · Involuntary movement, shouting or fainting during ruqyah
• · Voices, whispering, or a second presence
• · Pressure on the chest at night, sleep paralysis

Physical or chronic illness, pain and weakness where the treatment is seeking cure from Allah alongside the means He provided.

• · Ongoing pain, weakness or an illness with no clear cause
• · Slow recovery despite medical treatment
• · Relief and calm felt while the verses of shifa are recited
